itsforever: what is your philosophy on how to live life?

It would be a lot easier to answer this if I had an idea of how to myself. But I’m trying, and I think that you get handed little lessons as you go on that teach you and guide you. The one I learned the most recently is how to let go. Because there are things and people that matter and there are things that don’t, and learning to differentiate and value the things that do matter is important.

Honestly, you can think so all you want, but not everything is going to be beautiful. There are positive AND negative energies, and to believe that everyone is good is just naive. But really, just live in YOUR OWN positive light. Whether you encounter positive or negative beings, that’s just life. But there will always be something positive about you, and that’s what you need to go by. Ultimately, when your life is gone, you’re going to be alone. So don’t let simple-minded or hard-hearted people or situations make you cold. Do and be what you want to see in the world; be virtuous and unique. Don’t live up to a standard. Numbers don’t measure your true value, not even on a scale. Be what’s going to make you happy and healthy, and work at what you want in your life. Don’t keep relationships that only bring you down or cause conflict, but keep away from burning bridges. You’ll never be able to please anyone, but honestly, what does that matter if you’re pleasing yourself? It probably sounds all inspirationally cliche, but how I live my life is by and for myself. I’ve always struggled with the negativity of people and it always frustrated me and turned me feeling negative, but it is not worth it getting tripped up about. Just focus on your positive, internal, spiritual energy and become in tune with yourself. That’s the best I can tell you.
